In a world with complicated health insurance systems, Kristen Manwaring and the staff at her office rank easily among the most useless. In speaking with a number of insurance carriers, the general consensus is that the agents don't really know anything, they are just sales people that take commissions and hope to never hear from you again. Kristen Manwarring Insurance fits that description perfectly.But worse than that, on a number of occasions over a 5 year period they provided answers to our questions that were not only incorrect but cost us significant time and hundreds, possibly thousands of dollars.Telling us that paperwork did not need to be filed, only to find out we would lose our coverage if we didn't. Explaining away excessive charges as a deductible when, in fact they were actually over-charges. They even managed to put a complete corporate group within the wrong coverage plans. We are still not sure how that is even possible but the entire corporation was signed up incorrectly. No one got the right policy without extensive work from our end. They just kind of shrugged and tried to blame it on us.So we are moving on - even willing to pay a little more, just hoping to find the right support and accurate answers not sales pitches and blame shifting. (do websites do that?)I've been a professional for more than 20 years, started more than a dozen companies. Blame shifting is only used by poorly run organizations and companies with lousy acumen. Insurance is still a service industry after all, if you can't take responsibilities for your mistakes, you should go sell hot dogs.
