I have lived here for the past 2 1/2 years and

I love living at Corinth Place Apts and don't plan on moving anytime soon! The location is awesome. The Apartment staff is very helpful and extremely friendly every time I am in the office. The maintenance stuff does a great job of resolving your issues in a timely manner. I have lived in several different complexes over the last 20 years that I have been in KC and I have to say that Corinth Place is definitely one of the best. It definitely is worth every penny that I pay sure it may be a little higher then some other places but when you consider the location and all of the upgrades that the complex has made since I have lived here ie: repainting the entire complex with updated colors, a new fitness center and have added fitness classes you can take that are either free or may cost a small fee depending on the class. The pool is open from early may until it starts getting cold out. not to mention being in walking distance of great restaurants and shopping it is worth it. Plus it is an extremely quite and safe neighborhood with PV police department right down the road. And it is located in a great school district and most of the schools are with in walking distance a of the complex.

I love living in Corinth Gardens! The apartments are well kept, reasonably priced, and in a fabulous location. I would absolutely recommend Corinth to anyone- young, old, families, or single people. It's a great community. I have lived here for a few months and absolutely love it- I rarely hear neighbors or outside noises.

The area is safe and the parking is easy. Prairie Village is awesome and the corinth square updates have been very successful. Thats about the extent of the good qualities of this place.



I DO NOT recommend living here. I have lived at Corinth Gardens for several years and I am absolutely fed up with how terrible it is. Previously I'd lived at an AMLI apartment and they had a rule where maintenance requests had to be addressed within 24 hours, and it was often as soon as a few hours. So coming from that, I was shocked at the service here at Corinth Gardens. Do NOT expect a timely response to your maintenance requests here, or even one at all without contacting them multiple times. Last summer when it was in the 100s my air conditioning broke. I was fortunate to be able to stay at my fiancee's house because it took them days and multiple calls to fix it. I don't know what I would've done if I hadn't been able to stay somewhere else.



The laundry room is corinth gardens is disgusting, typically with leaves, dirt, dust and bugs all over it. There is never a time when I am in there that at least one machine (usually more) isn't broken. Usually there is no note so I waste my money on a broken machine, then have to do my laundry all over again. Often the same machine is broken for months at a time so I have a hard time believing that no one has requested to get it fixed.



Noise travels easily in these apartments and I can often hear my neighbor through the wall when he is just talking. If anyone is in the hall I can hear them quite clearly.



I do not agree with the previous reviewer about the landscaping ... after years of absolutely no upkeep, this new management company decided to spend a significant amount of money fixing up one courtyard with a swingset in the middle that looks totally out of place and unneccessary "pathways" and random flower bushes. They did not notify the residents before they did this. What a waste of money and it looks just as bad. The also built a fitness center that they advertised as "brand new and state-of-the-art." I was excited by this until I found out that it was a tiny room with about 4 machines and residents had to pay to get a key to use it when they want to.



On top of that, the new company raised rent costs significantly and now they changed their lease breaking policy to two months rent rather than one months rent (which it has been for years). Of course they neglected to inform me of this, obviously just hoping I wouldn't notice and would be forced to give them more money.



The latest ownership is slightly better than the last couple (this is the third ownership shift since I've lived here for three years) but I still wouldn't recommend living here. Find a company that treats its residents respectfully!



PS- Be aware that they will soon be constructing a massive senior living home right next to corinth gardens. It is supposedly going to be the biggest building in Prairie Village and I'm sure the construction will be a nightmare.
