Overall

Just had a root canal by Dr. Facer. Amazing! He was thoughtful and considerate. Absolutely no pain and I'm terrified of this sort of thing. Wish he did regular dentistry. Would absolutely go back!

Stay away from Dr. Facet and his staff!

I was referred to Dr. Steven R. Facer at Rocky Mountain Endodontics for consultation since one of my teeth was sensitive to cold. He said this sensitivity requires root canal and my tooth is almost dead and that I should do a root canal NOW to fix the sensitivity problem and to avoid this tooth from dying. And then he got ready for the procedure before I give him the go ahead, putting me in a situation to accept the root canal on that first visit. THEN he performed the root canal on the WRONG tooth. Now, not only he created pain on this tooth, the sensitivity remained. A few days later, I went to an experienced and well-known endodontic since I was still in pain and he was shocked and sad for what Dr. Facer had done to me. The root canal was NOT needed on any of my teeth and sensitivity was coming from the next tooth with old filling! Needless to say, this was my first root canal that shouldn’t have been there in the first place! I called their office numerous times and I was not able to get to Dr. Facer directly. Talked to the nurse and without her apologizing for his incompetences , she blamed me for accepting this procedure. Be Careful!!!!! Do NOT give Dr. Facer and his staff permission to operate on you as all they think about is money. They try to scare with problems that don't exist in your teeth to operate on you on the first visit so you can't have the opportunity to get a second opinion from another doctor. He is an amature and inexperienced endodontic with staff that looks at situations blindly. Stay away from this guy and Rocky Mountain endodontic. Always get a second opinion before you let them drill inside your teeth.

I recommend you get a consultation and dental work done anywhere else but from Dr. Pulsipher (Dr. Lucifer is what I call him). He has no empathy, is very inconsiderate and imprecise. The lady at the front desk bragged about getting two APICOECTOMYs at the same time; she said the surgery was not bad at all. NOT true! This was the worst dental experience of my life! I had to get an APICOECTOMY, which in my experience was like being operated on by a car mechanic. I asked the doctor if I had an infection and all he said was yes. No explanation for anything he was doing and why. I was in so much pain I couldn't chew or do anything for a week! I had to keep ice on my face 24/7. They told me not to look at the massacre but I knew something was wrong, so I looked. I called two days after my surgery to see if I could get my stitches redone and the lady at the front desk was so rude and unprofessional. The doctor pulled my gum over too far and forgot to sew it up. I had a huge piece of tissue flapping around getting infected. Now my gum is out of alignment. It’s like plastic surgery gone wrong. He didn’t say he was sorry or admit he did anything wrong! I have a high tolerance for pain but this dentist kicked my a$$ in a one legged a$$-kicking contest for 2 months! Plus it’s cost $1500.
