Food is too salty and is overpriced. Undoubtedly the worst restaurant in Raleigh. There are so many wonderful restaurants in downtown; go somewhere that has savory, quality dishes that aren't covered in salt! The service at Buku is mediocre, but it's the food that's truly awful.

The service was horrible. I experienced a rude waiter by the name of Nicolas. We asked for extra napkins. He returned with them & tossed them on the table. We never received refills on our beverages, not even once. A lady within our dining party had a question in regards to a Groupon that was purchased & he was very snotty with his reply. And he took it upon himself to send the manager, Mandy, over to our table. However, we never requested a manager. Mandy was just as rude & snotty if not more than Nicolas. Mandy proceeded to go back & forth with the young lady in our dining party. Mandy went as far as to make a comment about "actually reading" the Groupon. Luckily, the young lady in our dining party was respectable & classy enough to advise Mandy that she was not going to argue with her. (Especially being that Mandy was not requested by anyone in our dinner party). Hopefully, the Groupon that was purchased can be refunded or given away as gift because Buku is now off of my list of restaurants that I'd like to continue to dine in. However, the food was excellent as well as the servers who assist with the actual buffet.
