Yuppy Puppy

I love Yuppy Puppy. Our dog Woodstock is always well taken care of when we drop him off and when we pick him up he looks great. He is groomed to perfection and smells so good. My two little ones love that he smells like cotton candy. Anyone who has a pet needs to have their services. They are great. Thank you Yuppy Puppy for your wonderful hard work. The Schlatter Family.

Charmin whines on the way to Yuppy Puppy until we get there. She jumps out of the car the minute I open the car door and then takes off up the stairs. Megan always does a wonderful job with Charmin. She even dyes her for all the holidays! I love it! All of the ladies are so nice that work there. I will never go anywhere else

I love Yuppy Puppy. My dogs are always very well groomed. One of my dogs is a very nervous girl and they are always very patient with her, and she actually doesn't mind going now. They are the most reasonably priced groomers in the area, and they take the BEST care of them and they always look and smell fabulous!!!

Steph and her staff have always taken exceptional care of all of our Yorkies! I recommend them to everyone! The staff is always friendly and know us by name and our dogs always come out looking great! The spa is clean and has a homey feel! I would not let anyone e;se groom our pups!

I have had three visits now and cannot stress enough how much I love all these girls. they really listened to exactly what I wanted and pointed out some great options to helps my Shihtzu' Bellas ears to stop matting. Also I didn't even know she had an ear infection and they were thorough enough to catch it and I got her into the vet and on medication. One day I ended up having to stay late at work and they were even kind enough to walk her several times for me and give her water and treats...I arrived to find one of the groomers sitting on her table holding Bella and giving her kisses she said it was so she wasn't in a kennel for the whole day. That is a truly loving, kind and friendly staff. Bella is my whole life and we both thank all you ladies!!!!

took my dog in to be groomed and was told she was badly matted which she wasn't, I specificly ask the toenails be cut right as they catch in the carpet, when I went to pick her up she had been Shaved down to the skin !! tottally uncalled for. she looks pink ! and has tufts of hair hanging down, Her face was ragged and uneven, Her toenails were so sharp my poor grandkids are covered in scratches,I can not recommend this place to anybody.

Yuppy Puppy is a wonderful pet grooming service. I take my little Australian terrier there and she always looks great and is happy when I pick her up. The groomers are always friendly and you can tell they really love animals and take good care of them. The prices are great and way cheaper than many other places in Rapid City. I shopped around and they do the best job for the least amount of money. I would highly recommend anyone to take their pet there and give it a 10 out of 10!

This salon was great! we were very happy with the whole experience.

Over the summer my husband and I RV in the Black Hills...we are both retired and travel year round with our two shih-tzu's Molly and Maddie. We tried Yuppy Puppy and continued to bring our dogs every two weeks for baths and groomings. We have never been so happy with a groomer. The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable about everything....our "kids" looked perfect and were so happy too...they have always hated going to the groomer and now they love it! We are just so sad to have to leave for the winter I dont think anyplace in the world could compare to Yuppy Puppy! My husband even joked that we would have to move here just so the dogs could be safe and truly loved at the spa. This staff truly loves and cares for the pets like no other I have ever seen...they even wrote out notes on what the girls get for the next groomer they go to. Thank you so much ladies you truly are the very best we will see you next summer...unless of course we move:)Elizabeth Altieri

At drop off I received tense, unfriendly service from the staff that was taking my dogs. It seemed like everyone was rather tense. I got a phone call later from the groomer that one of my dogs was severly matted. I questioned this and right away was told that if I myself wanted to brush out the matts I could but if they had to it would cost more. I said to go ahead and shave her but that I didn't feel she was severely matted. She then implied that if I didn't believe her that she would save all the hair and that there was a form to be signed. She said this with a bit of a laugh which I found out of place concerning the way the conversation was going. I said again to go ahead and shave her but that I won't be bringing them back. I was abruptly put on hold while I could hear the groomer telling one of the managers what I said to which she then got on the phone. She defended her staff, told me to pick up my dogs and hung up on me. She was not there when I picked up my dogs.

I have NEVER been as happy with a grooming salon as I am with Yuppy Puppy! The shop itself is spotless and beautiful and the people who work there...wonderful. Smiles and warmth welcome everyone who steps through their door. Their love of animals is apparent in all they do; their prices are extremely low for the *excellent* service they provide. My little Jack has never looked better and has never been more comfy with a groomer before - I used to have to carry him into the place we used to go and he struggled the entire time. Now, when we pull up to the front of Yuppy Puppy, he's tugging at the leash to get to the door! I cannot say enough good about these folks. Pet parents, do yourselves a favor: you and your furbaby deserve the very best and that's all you'll ever receive from the wonderful staff at Yuppy Puppy.

I have searched far and wide for a dependable place to take my two dogs Alisha (Peek-a-Poo) and Star (Springer & Lab Mix). This place by far exceeds my expectations everytime and have been great to work with. Alisha had been to some rough places in the past and to say the least was not the most friendly to the groomers at Yuppy Puppy at first, but they were patient and kind and did not give up on her. With their continued patience, love and kindness there was considerable improvement in Alisha everytime she went and now that she has been going to Yuppy Puppy ever since they opened on a regular basis she now shows none of the old signs of abuse and neglect from the previous places. I have recommended Yuppy Puppy to several friends and family and now recommend them to you too! They do an excellent job, are very friendly, patient, kind and competatively priced too. I will not take my dogs anywhere else ever! THANK YOU YUPPY PUPPY!!!!!

Took my Wheaton/Cairn mix for a bath & grooming -- we are RVers & she likes to lie under the camper. Boy was she dirty! When I picked her up, she looked beautiful! Her coat was shiny and cut perfectly. My husband and I are very happy with the way she looks and the way she was treated. The staff seem to love dogs, and they are very personable. Prices are reasonable, too.

I took my 2 dogs to this grooming facility, and what a wonderful experience!! The place was immaculent and the staff was very friendly, and truly cared about my animals. It is truly a "spa like" atmosphere. I did not worry at all about leaving my dogs there. When I picked them up, their groom had never looked so good. They are also very reasonable priced.
