I just got home from dining at Pizza Inn. There were customers confronting the manager about the waitress not washing her hands after bathroom visit. The waitress was yelling “lie lie lie” and then admitted she does not have to wash her hands if she only set on the commode but did not use it. She said she told another customer that when she came out of the bathroom that she did have a stomach ache and didn’t do anything but sit on the commode is why they witnessed her not washing her hands. She called the customer “dirty” that was reporting it to the manager, for letting their toddlers leave a mess and lots of dishes. When they said she has not bussed one dish from their table or gotten refills on their drinks the last three visits, she commented she would never get refills or take plates if they do not tip. The accusations of being a non tipper was loud and numerous. I can not believe the manager first appeared to side with the waitress accusing the customer of making an unnecessary mess. The patriots denied not picking up any mess on the floor before leaving and the rude waitress may have sabotage the table before taking pictures to show her boss. Then the waitress became so belligerent that the boss told her she should have been pre bussing the table and getting refills because he pays her to. She said “no.” It was unbelievable when he stated she should wash her hands but did not have to. The customer said “It’s the law” and he agreed but said he was not threaten if the health dept. is called. He listen while the one lady said a few months before the same waitress had a BM and did not wash her hands and she told her family immediately in front of her and never tipped again. Today she witnessed the bathroom visit with another customer who suggested reporting it to the mgr. because she herself had seen that also at other times. The waitress stood outside the bathroom door then went to that customer and explained she only “sit on the commode.” The manager was not overly concerned about the waitress’ hygiene but said he wants the rest of us customers to be impressed with no messy tables as those two toddlers made. His solution was for the waitress to do her job at pre bussing the table. She refused because they did not tip. The stacked plates and napkins on tables not as disturbing as seeing that only waitress at noon on Saturday continue to arrange the remaining pizza pieces by hand on the buffet bar. I will not go back, as I’m sure other patriots witnessing that confrontation will not. The customer bragged on the thin waitress but only the rude pudgy waitress was working this Saturday. Do check out the waitress before you order if patronize that mgrs eating place.
