My name is Linda Guthrie, I had a appointment a 11:30 with Dr Stewart. I have told them my dog in the past hates cats, to move there cat last time I was there. Most dogs hate cats. Common knowledge. I drove 20 min. to see him. There cat was laying stretched out on the waiting chairs. Not good. I went to the desk with Hannah and Shelby, holding them tight. They wanted the cat. The girl was talking to a customer, the other girl outside on a smoke break. My dogs are anssy. I decided to go outside, but as I opened the door, Hannah put her head thru the chair and grabbed the cat. It happened very fast. Then the girls all came running grabbed the cat. I don't know if it was hurt or not? Again I tried to leave the situation. The cat should not be in the waiting area. Common sense not all dogs like cats. They new I had a appointment. Dr Stewart said " I would never have a dog like that" Hannah is a very loving dog. He told me to leave and not come back. After I drove 20 minutes had a appointment, and there neglect to not have there cat away from customers. For a vet he is not very smart. I tried to separate my fur kids away from the situation. NO one to help. He is not Animal friendly Dr Stewart. My dog just did what some dogs do. The chairs were right up to the door, I had Hannah tight on my leash, but the cat was that close. I'm sorry about his cat. I tried. NO loss on him throwing me out do to his neglect. I wouldn't want him touching my Hannah. He is not a true animal lover. No loss. Tons of Vets out there. Better ones. Ones that know Dogs hate cats, rabbits, squirrels.... etc... If you have a dog, not a good place to go. There would be a lot more homeless dogs if they all thought like Dr Stewart, saying "I wouldn't have a dog like that". REALLY ?
