Norms Restaurants

Worst meal ever, Pork chop way over cooked, same with my baked potato.So overcooked that it had nothing left inside that was eatable. This was a to go order that I called in and had to wait over 30 min even after getting therein the 15 mim they said it would take. Should of just left but I already paid for it and was so hungry. So after all this the reason I am commenting is that I got fresh fruit instead of soup, that is a joke as the fruit was sour and got me sick to my stomach after I bit into a piece of cantaloupe. Don't waste you hard earned money here your better of just throwing it away as I did. :(

The food here is so dull and tasteless.It has absolutely no spices at all. The service isn't very good either. They got our order wrong more than once that day. So if you like bland tasteless food this place is for you.

I was greeted promptly by the hostess, my mom and I were seated right away.

Our server let us know he would be with us shortly. He arrived to our table and

he seemed very rushed. He took our order, and went to

the back. Brought our drinks out. Then we waited. I finished my cup of coffee

completely and waited for him to come around again so I could get a refill. I did

not get a refill until I got my food... Okay, so we get to the food. It was good perfect

except for the fact that it sat there for a good while. Our hashbrowns were cold.

Our omelettes were cold. Our toast was cold. I asked to speak

to the manager. He insisted that he fixed the food. He only fixed the omelettes,

not the toast. So we sat there and waited, even though our appetites were pretty

much ruined. He brought our food back, and it was hot. BUT it was raw, because

it was rushed. We took a few bites, paid for it anyway and left. I did not get a receipt,

so I walked back in and asked if I could get one. The cashier gave me a sympathetic

look and said "Yeah, if you want to look through that bin." and she pointed to the bin full

of receipts. So I looked and grabbed the cashier receipt and left.



I have worked in the food industry for a few years. I know that, that restaurant needs

more servers. And some definite customer service training for the servers and hostesses.

I will not return there, or to any other Norm's restaurant. I should not have had to pay for that food.

I did not get to eat it, and I lost 45 minutes to an hour of my day. Not to mention, that the raw eggs

and potatoes made my mom and I sick. I am extremely upset, and disappointed. Since this was our first, and last, time to a Norm's Restaurant.

I was excited because I have heard great things about it. Then I was immediately disappointed
