I lived with a large renal cyst for more than 20 years. Dr. Rajpurkar was the first physician who listened to the problems I was experiencing and was the first to tell me that he could help. Using robotic surgery, Dr. Rajpukar removed the cyst. I went home the day following surgery. This was a life changing surgery. I no longer experience pain, urinary incontinence, frequency, or urgency. I can sleep for longer than two hours at a time because I don't have to get up to use the bathroom. I don't have to look for a bathroom every time I leave my house. Dr. Rajpukar spent a lot of time with me, answered all of my questions, and most importantly took me seriously. This was a simple cyst and it is usual for patients to be told that it is frequently seen and does not affect a patient's life. Dr. Rajpukar didn't ignore my concerns and my life is no longer focused on finding a bathroom. I can't thank him enough. Dr. Rajpukar listened carefully and never rushed me out of his office, and most importantly, he addressed all my concerns. And he has a plan for follow-up care. Additionally, he's great at removing kidney stones so they can be analyzed and the patient can take steps to prevent further stone development!!!!
