Midtown Comfort Shoes

The first time I went there (during open hours) there was a sign on the door saying they would return at 3:00. It was nearly 4:00. I went back today & told the sales person, who was supposedly trained by Dr. Basso, that I had plantar fasciitis and needed shoes/inserts with cushioning and a soft, rather than rigid, arch support. She said I had to have a rigid arch support. I told her I had been through that twice with Fleet Feet and had ended up being in a lot of pain. She told me that the only thing they had that was cushioned was clogs. I can't wear clogs but I tried a couple of pair anyway. They didn't fit plus she didn't have any in my size in black. I asked to try another style of shoe and she said they didn't have it in my size. They were also out of my size in the only cushioned arch support they carry. Their web site describes an Aetrex iStep foot scanner. Did the sales person offer that as an option or measure my feet? No. Poorly trained employee and nothing in stock...
