Robbery
Our client charged with FELONY robbery in the second degree after being captured on video. Prosecutor uncompromisingly offered 10 YEARS IN PRISON (and had the judge on her side), but we took the matter to the jury. The young man was found NOT GUILTY after JURY TRIAL because the JURY did not believe our client intended to steal. In fact, upon interviewing the jury, they thought our client was acting in self defense.

Criminal Consequences --Driving While Suspended or Revoked is a misdemeanor charge. For a first time conviction, you are subject to a $300 fine. For 2nd and 3rd convictions, you will be subject to up to one year in jail and up to $1000 fine. For a 4th or subsequent conviction within a 10 year period, or for a person with a prior alcohol related offense with 3 or more Driving While Suspended or Revoked convictions, it will be classified as a Felony D.

Client was charged after being arrested in a house with methamphetamine, marijuana, and paraphernalia. Client made incriminating statements. Negotiated a plea to misdemeanor possession of marijuana with one year unsupervised probation. OTHER FELONY CHARGES DISMISSED.
Assault
Murder
As a police officer Jeremy was trained extensively regarding the recognition of impaired drivers, conducting standardized field sobriety tests, and the operation of multiple breathalyzer machines. During his career, Jeremy worked alongside both State and Municipal prosecutors to bring cases to a successful resolution. Jeremy was certified in operating a voice stress analysis machine (similar to a lie detector), he has successfully completed training related to search and seizure, interview and interrogation skills to include Miranda, was a certified first responder/investigator for Methamphetamine Laboratories at a time when the County he worked in led the nation in Methamphetamine arrests and was a Field Training Officer. This experience affords Jeremy a unique perspective in that he understands how the judicial system operates from both sides. Jeremy has been directly involved in Jury and Bench trials and has testified in cases ranging from Murder to the simplest traffic offense.
Forgery
Felony forgery charges for falsification of receipts reduced to misdemeanor stealing with a small fine. Our client was accused of tampering with a long line of receipts coupled with merchandise returns at local Big Box retailer Lowes.
