        Getting to know Dr. Mark Blumenthal is like reacquainting with a trusted friend. Mark is a self-made man who found that commitment and pride add up to success. Mark's success was built upon his intellect and drive, not his personal "connections." Mark was fortunate to receive a full scholarship to Dartmouth College and the prestigious Washington University School of Medicine. Upon his completion of Medical School, he was accepted to Barnes and Washington University affiliated hospitals for both his internship and residency in General Surgery. He later became Chief Resident in General Surgery at the following hospitals: Barnes Hospital, St. Louis City Hospital, St. Louis County Hospital, John Cochran VA Hospital, and St. Louis Children's Hospital. After his chief residency, he was an Instructor in Surgery at Washington University.

        D. Blumenthal is very professional and wonderful.

        Dr. Blumenthal always makes sure I am comfortable, asks if I feel all right and is very professional. He explains what he is doing. His entire staff are friendly and have an upbeat attitude.

        I have been seeing Dr. Blumenthal for 18 years for my varicose and spider veins. He cares about me and spends time explaining things to me. We have a good relationship.

        After Kids, then This Great Vein Doctor!

        I am on a maintenance plan for great legs with Dr. Blumenthal and have enjoyed many years (10+) of medical care and treatment for my veins. I came to Dr. Blumenthal after a kid at the racquetball club began playing with the vein bulges on my legs. I was in my 30's then and the bad veins came after having kids. It took a few visits to get them in check but the before and after pictures of my legs were amazing and I was so glad to be rid of the big veins. He is always great to talk with as well and I enjoy our brief time together each year.
