Dental Examination
The American Dental Association recommends routine cleanings and dental exams every 6 months for patients with healthy mouths. Some patients should have cleanings more frequently, three to four times a year, if they have a history of gum disease or lack the physical ability to care for their teeth at home. Having your teeth cleaned by Lawrie or Juliet on a regular basis will make your visits easier and more comfortable.

Oral Cancer Screening
Dr. Davis will join you and perform an oral cancer screening and a TMJ evaluation. He will then review your xrays and images and complete a comprehensive exam. Next he will discuss with you his findings and your options for treatment. Any questions you have can be discussed at this time. You will then be led to the Treatment Coordinator where she will review treatment findings and all payment options.

For many patients, professional dental cleanings can be a scary exprerience. Sore gums and sensitive teeth can lead to patients delaying needed maintenance. Unfortunately skipping routine cleanings can lead to gum disease and even tooth loss.
