Atlas Chiropractic

I was hit by a car while crossing a crosswalk to reach a busstop as I don't drive. Without health insurance I was forced to seek the help of an attorney and was referred to Atlas chiropractic as they accepted my legal representation. Upon arriving the receptionist was helpful, but once I actually met the chiropractor I felt uncomfortable. She didn't talk to me about my leg sprain or explain anything about what was going to happen during my visit, and she was generally cold bordering on rude. Not sure if she was having a bad day, but I simply wanted to know about my health care. She told me to sit in another area where an assistant was, where the assistant hooked me up to the muscle stimulation machine which I didn't mark my consent for in the papers. Although I know this was part of the therapy for my sprained knee, I have never been involved in this sory of accident and would have preferred to be guided through my situation and made to feel at ease. If you are not the type of person to take interest in the care you are receiving this place would be good for you, but otherwise you will not be informed of what type of services you will be receiving. I am not returning.
