X-rays
Regular dental X-rays are excellent for looking at a small number of teeth, but when we need more information than they can provide, that’s when we use our Planmeca CT/cone beam scanner. This device creates a 3D image of the entire head, including all of the teeth, jaws, and adjacent oral structures. It even shows us the thickness of the bone and where sensitive facial nerves are located. It gives us a ton of data we can use to plan more complicated procedures like dental implant placement to ensure they are as comfortable and successful as possible.
