The physicians rotate daily to provide 24/7 in-house coverage on the Labor and Delivery floor at North Central Baptist Hospital and Methodist Hospital at Stone Oak. This provides our patients with the comfort of knowing there is a physician ready to see you 24 hours a day in the event of a true obstetrical emergency. We utilize a “Laborist” model to ensure you are safe and well-taken care of during labor. This also means your physician may not be on-call when you are in labor. We truly wish we could be present for the delivery of every single one of our patients. We have found this is the best way to deliver quality obstetrical care to our patients.

Our physicians or nurse practitioners will perform an exam, and obtain a urinalysis culture to diagnose and accurately treat. A bladder infection or urinary tract infection can be treated with antibiotics and pain relievers.

All radiology facilities notify you of your results by mail. If there is an abnormal finding, your physician will call you as soon as he or she receives the results.
