        Liz Atkinson Garza, M.D is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX. She is a professional member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Bexar County Medical Society, the San Antonio Dermatological Society, Texas Dermatological Society, and the Texas Medical Association. She wanted to be a dermatologist to treat babies, senior citizens and everyone in between. A significant part of the training is dermatopathology. When a skin lesion or rash is being looked they know what it looks like under a microscope, which leads to a greater understanding of the disease process.

        Dr. A. Garza has been my dermatologist for many years and has always been very professional and has given me the proper advice for any issue I have had over the years. I would not use any other dermatologist in town. She is the best.
