True Movers of Savannah

I had a Groupon for this Company, maybe that should have been my first Red Flag. Well I call to place my request, there is no voicemail and the guy tells you to make the request through their website. Long story short I get my move confirmed and the night before it is raining and Coleton, the owner of the company, calls to ask me to reschedule my move to one day later. The crew will be there at 9am, no worries he says.



At 10am the morning of my move, I call Coleton as this is the only person I have a number for. He doesn't answer so I call again and again. He finally texts me that the truck is broken down. Ok, I ask to be kept informed of the happenings. I call again 2 hours later since I have heard nothing. No response, not text no nothing. at 4-5 hours later I am irate as I have yet to speak to anyone about what is going on nor have I received and apology for their lateness. Finally, I receive a text with a number for a new crew.



They show up 6.5 hours after the scheduled time. The move is taking the crew so long that I actually start to help them. 4.5 hours to move a small house, to their defense there were a lot of stairs. Before the crew leaves Coleton calls them and asks them to hand their phone to me. I let the guys know I am not happy with how he handled things earlier in the day and he should speak to me tomorrow once I have calmed down. They guys then tell me to take it easy on him as he has low self esteem! I just laughed and let them know I would be a lot easier if he were apologetic for the lateness and understanding that my time was wasted.



Coleton calls me the next afternoon at 6:30pm! After hours seems to be the only time his phone works, then he is only able to speak via text message. He is asking me to pay $375 for 5 hours of work. When I assisted in the work and they showed up 6.5 hours late. After much back and forth he tells me I must pay him in cash tonight, please note it is 8:30pm by this time, and him and his guys will be by my house to pick it up! Ummm... a business transaction at 9pm, and you and your crew will come pick it up. I asked him if I could mail him a money order tomorrow and give him a tracking number, I also offered to Venmo him the money or PayPal it to him. None of this would do! He had to have payment at 9pm or he was coming to my house! I finally contact the Police and have a cop meet me at a neutral location to give him a money order. I just wanted it to all be over!



Please save yourself a massive headache and the threats that come along with working with this company! Save your money and your time, USE ANOTHER COMPANY!
