Sheridan Beach Terrace

I have lived here for a few months they have gone thru at least three mangers..the apartments are nice but not worth what they are asking for I pay over 1000.00 for a one bedroom .. if you have kids this isn't the place .. at night it's super dark . No lights . The parking lot is always full by six pm. The trash is gross and always filled.I wouldn't mind living if they dropped rent or changed a few things. It seems like no one actually cares to take care of the apartment. It does have a nice view of the lake. But I am pretty sure you can find a cheaper place. In my opinion the units are dingy at best. It seems Mgmt used the cheapest possible everything during their "renovations". Even with these crappy renovations they still leave the units feeling dated and stuck in the 80's. To me it seems there was no prep work done before painting, and instead SBT just sprayed over dings/scraps and mold. I'm no contractor but the mold kept creeping back through the thin layer of paint. It gets better, there is not enough parking for the residents - so I would never think I of entertaining. There is no on-street parking as SBT is right off of Hwy-522. If you were to have guests they would have to leave by 7:00 p.m. or risk getting towed by the friendly SBT Mgmt. The on-site manager is unreasonable and just plain horrible. Between the condition of the apartments and SBT's awful staff I chose not to renew my lease. Some units have a view from the deck/balacony, it's also good space for the money. SBT is in Lake Forest Park which is a great place to live. It's close to a good gym(Planet Fitness) and good eats(Ranin' Ribs and LFP Bar & Grill). It is also right off the bus line if you work DT or go to UW or UW Bothell. But why not get all of the good with none of the bad and live at the Watercrest Apts about 1000 feet north. I don't nor have I ever lived at Watercrest but now that I know the area better I kick myself for not living there originally.

The management is very poor. Could use more up keeping.
