Little Monkey Bizness

The place is a great place for kids to play with plenty for them to climb on. But we went there for my son's 2nd birthday party and for the amount of money that they charge the service could be a lot better. They say that they will host the party while you can relax and enjoy the party but the teenager that was hosting our party never even interacted with any of the children in our room. At one point she left the room for quite a period of time and my husband and I was servicing the food and drinks. They have an art project for the kids but all that is a picture of a monkey head taped to a stick and they have crayons on the tables, the host never said anything to the party like "okay it's time for an art project." While it is true that they do clean up when you pay $350.00 for a 1 hour and 45 minute party you expect the host to actually HOST the party. After all this place is geared towards children and not once do our host ever interact with the kids. When we went to check out I was surprised that the cost was so much and the manager said that is because the pizza's are so expensive, well they have a contract with Domino's and make you order from there so I was surprised that they admitted they were overpriced. My son's first birthday party was at My Gym in Overland Park where they make your kid the center of attention, they completely run the show, they are upbeat and really great with kids and you can bring your own food without being charged for it.

Finally a place I can go and either play with my child or have a great cup of gourmet coffee. We've had a birthday party there and go for open play 2-3 times a week
