Kristen Strasser, MD, is a Board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist at AdventHealth Medical Group Hematology Oncology at Shawnee Mission. Dr. Strasser earned her medical degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, where she also completed her internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship. Prior to joining AdventHealth Medical Group in 2021, Dr. Strasser worked as a hematologist and oncologist at Hannibal Regional Medical Group (HRMG) in Hannibal, Mo. She also held various clinical leadership roles at HRMG, including serving as both the director of hematology and oncology and the director of home health, hospice and palliative care. In her free time, Dr. Strasser enjoys traveling, spending time with her three young daughters, watching Chiefs football, writing, reading, and staying active through cycling, gymnastics and running.
