Julie's Barks & Bubbles

Years ago (before Julie's Barks & Bubbles) I used Julie for grooming of several of my dogs. They were always excited to see her. When she left I was devastated! Then I discovered Julie's Barks & Bubbles. My little Westie gets so excited to see Julie. Not only does she get the best 'Westie puppy cut' when she's there, she also gets to socialize with the other dogs and she loves that. I recently brought my 11 year old Golden Retriever to Julie and I was somewhat concerned that my dog would be scared at a new place and because of her age would have difficulty with the whole bathing process. She loved being there and she looked wonderful when we picked her up. I wouldn't take my dogs any where else but Julie's!

I LOVE Julie's!! I brought my border collie mix Bellie to see Julie for a bath and grooming. Bellie is a little timid, but can also be a bit bossy/nippy. She went right to Julie and loved her! She played with the little dogs while she was waiting her turn, and when I picked her up she was all smiles! Bellie was completely comfortable with Julie and the love she gives all the dogs! The "puppy cut" Julie gave her was adorable, and I can't wait to bring her back! :) <3

I bring my little dog to daycare a couple of times a week. Julie is very reliable ~ she gives my dog her afternoon meds and feeds her. She is also responsible and handles all the dogs~ grooming or daycare like they were her own. Her place is very clean. She is flexible if I need to change a day or add a bath onto her already busy schedule. I just can't say enough good things! Thank you so much Julie! Amy & Little Lucy

I have been going to Julie with my dogs since before she was Barks & Bubbles. I am very particular about how I want them cut because I want practical but also them to look cute and adorable. No groomer has met my desired look for my dogs other than Julie. I love bringing them to her because I know they are well cared for. I get messages when they are done, updates when I pick them up, and occassional pictures of them enjoying her company. Unlike other groomers, Julie will allow the dogs to socialize instead of being caged up until I come to get them. I will tell you that I would never recommend my friends to someone I didn't trust to care for my dogs and I tell ALL of my friends to go to her. :) If you want your dog stripped, burned, knicked, and stypticed, go to the other people. If you want someone who truly will care for you and your dog, go to Julie!

Julie always provides our fur-baby with the best day. We drop her off at 7:30 in the morning and usually will not pick her up until 4:30 or 5pm. Julie is more than flexible in accomodating my husband and my own work schedules to ensure on the days that Lucy gets her hair cut that she can stay until we have time to pick her up. It is great to get her somewhere she can socialize with other dogs her size. Julie separates the large dogs in for daycare from the small dogs that either come for daycare or to be groomed. She always trims our Yorkie Shihtzu mix so nicely, cleans her rear and trims her nails. She is sure to tie on an adorably patterned scarf and make sure that she smells fresh and clean for our pick up. We know Lucy is being loved while we are at work which is so nice. As an owner who washes, cleans out her pup's rearend, and sprays and brushes their dog every evening it is so refreshing to us to be able to bring our pup to a groomer who cares for her in as detail oriented a fashion as we do. Furthermore, I would be able to tell in an instant if she was dirty or didnt get the care she needed while we were at work and this is never the case at Julie's! Additionally, there is never any feces nor dog urine on the floor when we drop off or pick up. If a pup has an accident Julie is always sure to clean up right away. Finally, she ensures that each dog is interacting appropriately and if they do not she makes sure they are in a space where they can be on their own. She has asked us to keep her updated with vaccinations to ensure that Lucy is up to date. We are loyal customers and could not imagine bringing Lucy's anywhere else for her grooming appointments!!

I have been taking my dog to Julie since she opened just about and haven't gone anywhere else since. She is extremely friendly and it is obvious that she is a dog lover. She is also very flexible and accommodating. I always know my dog is in good hands when I drop him off and just love seeing him nice and clean and sporting a new scarf when I pick him up. Keep up the good work!

My dog Dallas goes to Julie 5x a week full-time. He absolutely adores her and starts jumping at the door every single morning with excitement to take him in. He is a completely different dog on the days he doesn't go he's almost sad. His friends at the daycare are just precious and all well-cared for. I attribute Dallas' ability to get along with people and dogs to Julie's care and place. The interaction and socialization is bar none awesome. She provides so much care and personal attention it's unbelievable! She's like family to us and we feel lucky to have her. Moreover, Dallas was also asked for proof of vaccine (but it's clearly on his tags as all dogs must have). He is also groomed and bathed there and the clean, bath smells lasts for weeks. Truly, his grooming is perfect and she listens to whatever you request. Lastly, when I have asked for advice or suggestions, she has helped us in so many ways between food choice to training recommendations. Dallas and Icouldn't ask for a better doggie daycare provider!

First of all, I can't comprehend anyone &quot;bad mouthing&quot; Julie's Barks &amp; Bubbles. I have been going to Julies Barks &amp; Bubbles since it was opened. Julie does a phenomenal job cleaning and grooming the dogs. I also firmly believe that her price is extremely reasonable. My pug loves going there and I would highly recommend this place to anyone. There aren't enough small businesses like this where you can actually have a &quot;pleasant&quot; conversation with the owner. If people, previously &quot;bad mouth&quot; her business, then take your &quot;crappy&quot; attitude and go somewhere else. Julie runs a high level operation. Obviously, any negative comments are generated from &quot;shallow&quot; people with too much time on their hands. I will continue to bring my dog to Julie as long as I can. Julie, thank you for your high professionalism, compassion, and sincere care for my dog.

I have been getting dogs groomed for years and the groomer had so many clients that the shop would be full of floating dog hair,pee and poo all over because they had too many unsupervised dogs so i looked around and found this little shop of Julie's when i walked in it was bright, smelled nice and clean i mean why wouldnt it ? theres tons of soap and water.all the little dogs had there own little spot to play. The dog i took to be groomed was a matted mess and Julie gave him a bath and a nice cut he looked fantastic and im sure felt better as well I would recommend Julie to anyone who has fearful or anxious dogs shes very kind and very professional.

We have been a customer of Julie's Barks and Bubbles since the day she opened her own place in South Windsor. My Bassetts love the close attention Julie gives them EX: nail Cutting, Shampoo's, and Doggie Daycare. We have tried many local shops before finding Julie's Barks and Bubbles and were charged Higher Prices for Understaffed and often under experienced groomers! I have recommened dozens of clients to Julie's Barks and Bubbles and Years later they are all still happy customers!

Julie's Barks and Bubbles is a fantastic place to have your dog groomed. Julie is so nice and works so well with the dogs. My dog also goes to daycare here 3 times a week and loves it there! I also get my dog groomed once a month and she comes out so beautiful. I'm so happy with her work. As for the negative review on here there are dogs that are bound to have accidents. Also she did check my dog's vaccination paper work when I first went there. If you want to have your dog pampered and beautiful you need to go to Julie's!

I have brought my dog elsewhere for years, but due to a change in people there, I started looking for a different spot. I saw great reviews for Julie's and decided to try it. My dog seemed to have a fine time. My first disappointment came when she never asked for a rabies vaccine proof. When I picked my dog up, all the dogs are milling around together in one area, not separated in any way. The place seemed dirty. One dog peed on the floor and others walk thru it. Granted, she did clean it up as soon as she saw it, but I don't like the idea of my dog walking thru it when she supposedly just had a bath. Or what about if a dog poops on the floor and another eats it....eeueww! But as for the grooming, again, I was disappointed. Her hair was very choppy, not a nice flow to it at all and her hair didn't feel like she was bathed. She still had a bit of that oily feel. The price was nice, but not worth it to me. Now, off to hunt for another place!
