        Cox North, a unit of CoxHealth, is a health care facility located in Springfield, Mo. Established in 1906, the hospital is formerly known as Burge Hospital. Its accredited air medical flight program transports the critically ill and injured and is available 24 hours, seven days a week. The hospital offers residential, outpatient, inpatient and 24-hour crisis assistance for mental health needs. It also offers financial assistance to families of children with serious illness and injuries. It provides comprehensive rehabilitation services, including inpatient, outpatient, vocational services, sports medicine and speech and hearing services. Its library is open Monday through Friday and offers medical and nursing books and journals. The hospital s cafeteria serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cox North also offers chapel and visitor parking services.
