The Big Island Grill

The food is mediocre at best and the service was terrible. They claim to have a "Kobe Beef" burger which is in fact a frozen patty of low grade beef, the sushi tastes similar in quality to grocery store sushi, and the pasta was oily and wattery from grease and had clearly been microwaved based on the cottage cheese like consistancy.



We came in as a large group of 16 for a birthday and it took nearly 20-30 minutes to seat us after our reservation time. Then they waited 10 minutes to bring us water. Two people from our group got their drinks and food before we even received our wine. We were at this terrible restaurant for over 3 hours.



We discussed our concerns with the food to our waitress and she told us "That's not my fault, I didn't cook it". After talking to the snotty waitress we asked her to bring over the manager and after asking 4-5 times he finally arrived at our table only to tip-toe around the issues.



This was by far THE worst service and food I have ever experienced. The best part of the night was eating dinner elsewhere.

I would strongly urge you to dine elsewhere.
