There is no better than Doctors and Staff at Bay Street Animal Hospital!
Cheryl and the staff go above and beyond for your animals. I have been a long time customer for my own pets and recently visited with my Aunts cat. The office is always immaculate and clean and the staff is amazing. I highly recommend them!

Overall

Dr. Keith Gordon killed our dog with his misdiagnosis ignoring another colleague who properly diagnosed the dog. Gordon was insistent that our dog had ingested a foreign object despite all diagnostic testing coming up negative for a foreign ingested object. Two ultrasounds in as many days both negative no foreign ingested object or obstruction of any kind both at 500 dollars each a barium study another 500 dollars and last but not least an exploratory surgery he did not get our express permission to perform that found no ingested foreign object found along with no other obstructions at all...but I guess they figured since they opened him up we have to find something to justify the surgery so they told us the dog had a condition called pyloric stenosis this is a narrowing of the pyloric canal a passage way for food to leave the stomach into the lower intestine and performed a surgical procedure on the dog called a pyloroplasty. The dog had two abdominal ultrasounds done prior to the surgery and a barium study all diagnostic tests that could have easily discovered the pyloric stenosis but did not. The lack of experience the surgeon had in performing the pyloroplasty procedure with its close proximity to the pancreas

gave our dog a severe case of pancreatitis. The dog was now suffering with untreated HGE that can be fatal and a severe severe case of pancreatitis that almost always is fatal and was in our beloved dogs case, but are dog did not die at Bay Street Animal Hospital oh no Dr.Gordon basically called us and told us I have know idea whats wrong with your dog you need to get him to Red Bank in New Jersey to see a specialist... Red Bank as good as they are could not save our dog from the second we are dog entered Red Bank he was the sickest dog in the entire hospital. Our dog had treatable HGE that diagnosed by a colleague of Gordons at Bay Street Animal Hospital the first night he was admitted but Gordon refused to listen and decided he was going to take us for as much as he could never imagining things would spiral out of control as they did and when they did he dumped us off to Red Bank not his problem anymore.
