Best Chinese food EVER! Great service, fast carryout, been a customer for over 30 yrs....never go anywhere else!

We've been in the area for over 40 years. Wing Lee's food use to be delicious each and every time. Unfortunately that has changed. When we order now, we know there's a 50/50 chance the food will be good. Our last carry out was simply awful. We ordered the Gai Kow (chicken and veg) dinner combo plate and egg drop soup.



The soup was good but very cool. Had to pop it in the microwave to heat it up.



The fried rice was a complete joke. It was nothing more than literally globs of white rice with soy sauce sprinkled over it. No egg, vegetables, or protein to be found in the dish at all. I don't call that fried rice. It's white rice with soy sauce.



The chicken was undercooked and I wouldn't serve it. I heated a pan and cooked the Gai Kow again. Kind of defeats the point of carry out...



Years ago we use to dine in/order out from Wing Lee at least 4 to 5 times a MONTH. Now it's closer to 2 or 3 times a YEAR because the quality is so unpredictable. If you do get a bad meal, don't waste your breath complaining. The owner won't offer to correct the meal (you have to firmly press the issue), nor will she apologize.

Came here in desperation because China Wok was closed. (Sat. 8/9/2014) After waiting nearly over an hour for 3 takeout entrées and wasting a considerable amount of gas I was very displeased! They completely screwed up an easy order ( 3 entrees for $30! Very over priced and came with NO sides!) and never offered to correct it! 1st I ordered a beef lo mein but with rice noodles substituted for lo mein, and I received a bunch of egg noodles with a few actual rice noodles peppered in. When I called they said the noodles looked like egg noodles but were really a type of rice noodle! I am a culinary arts grad and don't expect perfection but these were definitely egg noodles! I GOT NOTHING CLOSE TO A LO MEIN DISH!! They assumed I'm just some dumb American they could pass cheap crap on! I paid $10 for that trash! 2nd I ordered orange chicken mild. They gave us almond chicken with a cup of sweet and sour sauce and when I asked about that during the phone call they switched me between three different women to try and figure out what I was saying. Finally I spoke with the women who took my order and spoke English very well. She admitted they had orange chicken on the ticket. Following her admission a bunch of Chinese screaming ensued in my ear. I believe it was the owner who finally got on the phone and simply apologized but did not offer to correct the problem in any way! The third entrée was actually correct and tasted very good, but when you have 3 hungry people and only one edible entrée its not enough. If you want to overpay for shortcuts then this place is perfect for you! Chef Ramsey Would have a field day with what I experienced!

Best Chinese food in Macomb County. They have been around for over 35 years. Great food, great portions, great services and great prices. We live in Clinton Township and have many Chinese restaurants in the area but we will make the trip to eat at Wing Lee.

i ordered the won-ton soup along with two meals and the food was horrible, the chips they give you with the won-ton soup had sauce from another meal on them and were stale, they gave me food from another persons plate.. do your self a favor and find another place, unless u like flushing money down the drain

Avoid this place like the plague



The short waitress with the glasses is the rudest most disrespectful service provider I’ve EVER encountered. The generals chicken was rubber almost like it was taken off of another plate and reheated and as I ate it one part of it literally dried my mouth out. This place is highly dysfunctional and with so many other great Chinese places, you’d be smart to avoid this place like the plague. The food use to be good but something has really gone wrong here because this isn’t the first time we’ve had this problem here.
