They offer safe and highly effective treatments such as Sclerotherapy, Vein Ablation, Varithena and VenaSeal™. The vascular center focuses on Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), restoring circulation by clearing blocked arteries. PAD is one of the top causes of amputation, which is why MINT proudly serves as a dedicated Amputation Prevention Center. MINT is also the first dedicated outpatient fibroid center in St. Louis. In the fibroid center, Dr. Akinwande and his team perform a uterine sparing procedure called Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE).
