Provided by DexKnowsThe place was empty and now I know why. I ordered the cashew chicken and was not impressed. The sauce was good but the chicken tasted old and bland so I reluctantly ate around it. Desert was great. Service was very good. For what you pay you can get better tasting food at a cheaper restaurant.

Provided by DexKnowsI love sitting by the water pool, but wish they had music. That is lacking, music. The mongolian beef was very good, so I have had that twice, and they have a side dish of spicy curry rice. Have some. Yes, it is well woth it, and the portion is big enough for two, so order 1 dish and split, then have desert ! yummy

Provided by SuperpagesThis is a great spot to eat at; great food, ownership that cares, and a super hip location. Did I say great food? And make sure to finish off with one of the desserts, usually made by the owner herself. Delish!

Provided by DexKnowsI agree with the positive comments posted about this restaurant. I have eaten here several times. All times dishes were savory and wonderful. Service was usually good, sometimes a little slow. It is a little spendy, but in line with the other nicer downtown restaurants. The atmosphere is wonderful- a great date spot too.

Provided by DexKnowsGreat for a night out!! Excellent food-atmosphere is amazing, a little more pricey than your average asian restaurant--yet well worth every penny!!

Provided by DexKnowsOurs was a great experience at Indochine with an attentive waitress, great food that arrived hot and fast, nice wine selection and the BEST coconut ice cream we'd ever tasted. Give it a shot - even if you have to wait, the atmosphere is lovely and enjoyable.

Provided by DexKnowsI really like everything I have ever eaten here, but there is a lot of really delicious Vietnamese/Thai food in Tacoma. Indochine is all about the swanky atmosphere, but they need better service.

Provided by DexKnowsI have visited Indochine three times. The atmosphere is chic and welcoming. The food has never been dissappointing and the cocktails are inspired. It is spendy, but the downtown restaurant scene seems to have that in common. My main complaint is the service. On one of my visits, I tried to arrange reservations for a large group of 13 ladies. It proved impossible. Between the inept and rude hostess and the manager that the issue was escalated to, we ended up choosing another venue. On the other visits service has been spotty, vacillating between personable, attentive waitstaff and being completely forgotten and having to wait over an hour for food. All in all, if you can eat in the lounge or you don't mind making it a several hour meal, it is delicious food.

Provided by DexKnowsMy friends and I loved the food, the atmosphere and the service. Everything was delicious but the Honey Glazed Walnut Prawns was our favorite! Considering the quality and quantity of the food, it was very reasonably priced. We will definitely come here again!
