California Chicken Grill

My favorite is the yellow rice and chicken with the teriyaki sauce.... And depending on who marinated n grilled the chicken it'll be the best meal of the day!!! And its perfect for those people on diets with salad options, wraps and smoothies!!!

I moved to tallahassee for college about 4yrs ago. I try to eat pretty healthy for the most part, so this is where California Chicken grill comes into play. The food is awesome. One of the main things that really makes a person not want to continue eating there is the Management. If you have a problem with your food and ask to speak with a manager, it's usually an "oh well" type of response with a "sir/ma'am" at the end. The amount of food is NEVER, i repeat NEVER the same. The prices are getting ridiculous. For instance, the sides were $1.89, then they went up to $2.29, now they are $2.59 plus tax. No one tells you the prices have changed, so you end up paying a hell of alot more money for what u would usually get for almost 2-3 bucks less. The menu may not show the new prices, but you still have to pay the new prices. Back to the quantity of the food, yet the same price you would normally pay, I usually get the large skinless boneless chicken combo which comes with rice, 2 sauces and your choice of a side. I would get that combo with my side being the baked potato wedges. You pay all of that money, close to $3 for the wedges, so you would assume you would get a decent amount. I kid you not, they would put like 5 wedges in your container. This has happened to me on a number of occasions and on others the container is packed the way it should be for the amount of money you're paying. DO NOT! I repeat..DO NOT ask to speak to a manager regarding this bc you will only be wasting your time. The counter girls will tell you it depends on the cook. Why should it depend on who's cooking the food when you're paying the same price everytime you buy there?? If the management was fired, hiring new management, I would tell everyone I know about this place, but to keep my friends/family from going to jal, I rather not, bc I'm a bit nicer than they are.
