They do love dogs and take care of my dog very well, both medically and boarding. The one flaw is that I have repeatedly asked them to call me when I board my dog and they think he needs shots or some such. The last time I went to pick him, they had just added various shot charges to the bill. The woman at the counter insisted she called me even though I easily could check my cell phone and saw there was no call. She indirectly threatened not to give me my dog until I paid. That kind extortion really pissed me off. I wanted to call the cops but decided it wasn't worth it. But nobody likes being lied to to their face. I know I was their best customer, and they have lost thousands of dollars in boarding fees for how they treated me and Flacco.

My family has taken our beloved pets (cats and dogs) to Dr. Fioramonti and Dr. Hauptmann for almost 25 years. I cannot imagine a better, more professional, and dedicated veterinarian practice than Towson Vet. I recommend them to the highest degree and as a second generation dog mom, I will never go anywhere else.

Ive must admit, I was shocked when I heard about someone leaving poor reviews for Towson Vet. Ive been a client here for over 10 years and even my children bring their pets here and board them several times threw out the year for vacation and what have you. The doctors are like family to us, go out of their way to make sure our dogs and cats are well taken care of. Dr. Fioramonti himself as always giving 110% into the care and treatment and although I personally have never dealt with the other doctor, my husband has and says he also goes all out despite not even being our normal doctor and knowing the difficulties it is having to treat someone elses client. I was shocked when I heard about the poor reviews and knowing that indeed no one is perfect, mistakes happen, I find it hard to believe suck mistakes were not only made but left unattended and neglected. The animals care and safety has always came first in the eyes of the doctors and the staff.

Our dog had to go to the Pet ER after staying here!

Towson Veterinary Hospital claims they specialize in boarding animals with medical conditions however, they failed to recognize our dog was in distress. When we picked our dog up after his stay, we had to take him to the Pet ER, where he was admitted in critical condition. We do not believe our dog was given his medicine properly and even though they say they checked him out upon leaving, they could not recognize a critically ill dog. They were extremely unresponsive and confrontational when we questioned them about what happened. I would never board our dogs here again, nor would I ever want my animals to see veterinarians who are not capable of recognizing when a dog is visibly sick.
