Want to know where to go in VB to gather friends and enjoy a great evening over delicious food? Look no further. Yard House is the place to be! My husband’s work loves this place for happy hour. I love it for any gathering from family celebrations to friends having a night out. Clean, chic, and spacious, the large open seating surrounding a gorgeous bar makes for a great social evening. Yet this isn’t a bar dive-it’s upscale and casual. You’ll be able to enjoy delicious food and a variety of craft ales and lagers. The food is well-prepared, tastes extremely fresh, and provides decent sized portions. What is even better are the unique offerings of “Snacks” (for those who want to nibble, “just taste”, or eat smaller portions), “Street Tacos”, an entire menu selection of Gardein based dishes/entrees (for those who prefer alternatives to meat and fish), and gluten sensitive recommendations/alternatives. Some of the amazing eats we’ve had include the ahi poke bowl, New York steak sandwich with sweet potato fries, and grilled Korean beef short rib street tacos. But it doesn’t stop there. Dessert is a must! Don’t leave without tasting the homemade fresh baked brownie with ice cream (it is really decadent—the best brownie I’ve ever had!), or any of the “minis”! The mini lemon soufflé, chocolate soufflé, and peach cobbler is divine!
