Overall
Don't believe Roy

I looked up this number on yp. This guy Roy was totally wrong about this man. In my eyes this guy lost out. For the price you get the best work. One year or 12 thousand mile warranty parts and labor. Rich was informative about part and explained what went wrong. Brought up Mr Roy to Rich. He explained that not everyone understands that a estimate really is? He said he was wrong but it happens. His esimate was spot on!! So happy that i gave this young man a try! Thanks RICH!

Overall
The best car repair experience

I was down to visit my grandmother and borrowed her car, the window stopped working on the drivers side and I felt it was my responsibility to fix it. I thought I would never be able to get it done before I left for the airport. But I called Rich from Mobile Window Repair on a Friday at 3pm and he had the part and came over at 4:30 that day. He took my out of town check, no problem. He got it finished in less than an hour and gave my grandmother a written warranty. I felt great that I did not leave her with a repair and a trip to a dealer. When I called the dealer just to see what it would have cost, I found out that Rich saved me over $300 and he did it in our driveway. I never had such a good auto repair experience, I wish we had it in our state.

Saved almost $600 on my 2001 cad deville with factory parts!

It was Sunday around six in the evening and my window dropped into the door. I live in a apartment complex and another tenent heard me frustrated with my window. He Checked a sticker inside his door and refererd his business. I called Rich and he explained how the problem came to be on point. An hour later he arrived and an hour after that he was done. In a short summary i got a warranty factory re-man or new factory at my choice and saved hundreds of dollars. The best part i wasn't driving around all night or the next day hoping i could get it fix for a reasonable price. Got my vote Rich!

Overall
Good luck; you'll need it

On Tuesday 4 Sep 2008, The person from Mobile Power Window Repair (Rich) quoted fixing my car window at $135 after I told him all the noises and movement (or lack there of) the passenger side window was doing. He said it sounded like the regulator and we set the appointment for 5 Sep 2008 @ 0915(the next day). On 5 Sep 2008 he called me at 1150 to say that due to his mistake (my car needed a regulater and motor); the price of fixing my window would cost $260. I was upset about the fact that I should or he should have said this yesterday; as he is the professional, and deals with these units all the time.

The long and short of it:

He took the window track out and left it and the motor laying in my driveway.

When I called him to talk about this; He gave me attitude. He stressed that he would not stand around and argue about the work. He would not work to make things right. I wanted him to at least leave my car as he found it (with the track and bad motor in tack and still installed in the door). When I called and asked him to come a fix my car to the original condition; he told me to put it back together myself or I would be charged a service call and it would cost me $55. He told me to put it back together myself. If he was going to charge me for a break-down quote then he should have stated that up front.

In summary:

If your repair is easy and straight forward; this may be your guy; but if he runs into problems this kid will "take his toys and go home"; leaving you stuck. He was at best un-profesional and should be required to fix my car back to the condition he found it in.

When I provide a service to the public I do the best I can to estimate a repair over the phone without a service call using the information provided in the call. This customer described his problem as best he could and I gave him a price for a regulator repair. The next day I arrived at the car which had been taken apart before my arrival and discovered that not only was the regulator bad but the motor was broken also. I drove back to my warehouse and other sources to find a motor and keep to my original estimate but was unsuccessful in finding him an extra free motor. This took 3 hours of my time and I had no problem with this extra effort. When I informed the customer of the need for the motor, he became irate at the fact that I did not quote him an exact price the night before. I told him it was an phone estimate based on his information and I reminded him that dealers will charge him $94-$118 just to diagnose a vehicle without a repair and that my phone estimate is an estimate not a quote. He became confrontational on the phone and I being former USAF military police know it is best to diffuse a situation before it reaches the next level. I was forced to leave the vehicle as I found it but with the broken regulator detached. I have owned this business for 3 years and have a good reputation as a matter of fact this customer got me off a reference, you can't please everyone but my good reputation obviously preceded me or he would not have made that first call. Hundreds of my customers are pleased and I am grateful for my new and repeat business. To close, I would like to state that no money changed hands here, if this gentleman wants me to stop over and install his broken regulator I would be happy to oblige if he can contain himself. I am a professional and I realize people can get upset when their vehicles break down, my customers really appreciate the fact that I save them time and money and I am grateful for a good customer base.
