Provided by SuperpagesIt has been several months since our last visit, which we swore at the time would be our last - but we figured maybe, just maybe things have improved. Unfortunately, the decline continues. The restaurant needs a thorough cleaning - top to bottom and side to side. Everything could use some soap, water and elbow grease. Our visit was on a Sunday evening and we were seated immediately. The first annoying thing (when I go into any restaurant) is to hear the servers say when they collect payments is "do you need any change?". The management should instruct their servers to bring change to everyone, unless the CUSTOMER specifically says "keep the change". Bad first impression !We ordered beverages which was a simple request - 1 coke & 1 iced tea plus the Amarillo Cheese Fries as an appetizer. We received 2 iced teas, no straws & no fries. The server had acknowledged the fries, but never wrote it down so after about 15 minutes we asked about them and she told us we never ordered them. Ok, apology accepted. Fries came but were soggy & we never got plates. The meal was ordered - salad was wrong. The server took the coke glass for a refill but we had to remind her 10 minutes later since it never made it's way back to us & once again no straw. Finally the meals were served - filet mignon was great & cooked as requested. The San Antonio Sirloin was cooked as requested but was so grissly that my husband only ate about half the portion. We had to ask for the bread that should have been provided at the start of the meal. Normally when servers see only part of the meal eaten they ask if everything is ok. Nope, not here. I paid by a credit card so we avoided the "do you need change?" part. That was probably the most satisfying part of the visit. We did not see a manager during our entire visit but I doubt they would have liked to hear what I thought about the experience. This was at least the third strike for the restaurant so we won't be taking our business there again. If this was the first disappointment I wouldn't be so critical but since the previous problems with service and quality had been brought to the attention of the manager on duty and no improvements have been made then they get no more chances.
