I bought a RC truck for my seven year old and was a bit concerned that it was too complicated for him. I was told by the sales associate to hang on to my receipt in case it was. In order to find out i opened and charged it and found that it was too complicated and brought it back the next day. I was put with the owner who said that because it had been opened it was non-returnable. I said that would have been nice to know before I bought it from the sales associate. He said the policy is on the faded hardly readable receipt. With shaky customer service like that, you are better off to buy the same items online or through Ebay where you get a cheaper price with the same no return type policy. Buyer beware on the store owner!! Strikes me as the nerd that got picked on through high school and has a chip on his shoulder! If you do shop in his store, make sure your item selected is the one you want because you can forget any type of return!

Provided by SuperpagesI have been to all the Hobby stores in Wichita and this is by far the best selection and best service in town. Most of the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Provided by SuperpagesApparently some people have honestly never been inside the HobbyTown that I shop at. The service is phenomenal with at least a couple of guys being very knowledgeable in the subject of radio control cars and airplanes. The owner can be a bit overbearing if you don't know how to take a joke.

Provided by SuperpagesVERY POOR SERVICE! They think because they are big they can treat you like nothing. I grew up around R/C my dad owned a Hobby Shop. They need to step up. last time i went in there I had to ask for help and they didn't even know what to do. The time before that I waited around for a good 20 min. before anyone would help me. I even spent around $1000 that day. I wont be back.There are other stores in town and/or the Internet. Very bad business
