Michael Marina Salon

Service was awesome here! such a large open space and the owner was so very nice. She tailored to my preference and was quick at what she did. Hands down would recommend this to anyone in the near area. Will definitely be a regular here for cuts and colors!

If I could give this place less than one star I certainly would. Went there to use our groupon for two Mani-Pedi's. When we arrived the only one there was the manicurist Jamie and someone working on the plumbing. Was told that someone else was coming to do 2nd mani-pedi but she had to go pick up her children 1st. In the meantime, another customer came in looking for Marina. She advised that she had confirmed her appoint on Saturday and this was Monday. All Jamie could tell her was that Marina was not there and was not expected. When the other woman (Christen) finally arrived 45 mins later with two small children - one screaming - she advised that she was the receptionist and she was only doing the mani-pedi as a favor but it had to wait until she'd made some phone calls. She then told the other customer that Marina was in NY and would not be there for her appointment. At this point it was 6 p.m. - my mani was done but no pedi and my daughter had not even been started. Jamie offered to have "the plumber" who turned out to be her boyfriend start my daughter's pedi. I have to give Jamie kudoos for her efforts but, this was the most unprofessional salon I've ever been to and it obviously starts at the top with Marina who had no respect for her appointments so why should any of her staff.
