We are a family owned and operated business delivering honest and professional auto repair and auto services to the people of Woodbridge and surrounding areas. From basic services like oil changes, tune ups, and factory scheduled maintenance, to more complex services such as shocks & struts, A/C service and engine repair, our mechanics will be sure to have your vehicle up and running properly! We have an 12 month/12,000mile warranty and free shuttle service to the local Woodbridge, VA area. Caton's Auto Repair's story first started in 1938 when James and Buella Caton first moved to the Woodbridge, VA area, where they purchased a hog farm and raised 8 children. In fact, the Caton Auto Repair story has always been about family. One of the Caton sons, John "Leo" Caton, built the original shop on the back parcel of their farm in 1964. Catons Texaco, as it was known then, operated as the Woodbridge, VA auto repair shop for 15 years before it became Catons Auto Repair. In 1998, Leo Caton retired and passed on the torch of the family business to Bob Caton, who serves as its current owner and operator. In true Caton family form, Bob's nephew, Adam Caton, joined the team in 2009 working as mechanic and service writer. Being such an eminent shop in the local area, not only does Caton's Auto have long-time customers, but it also sees many faces of 3rd generations as well! Our auto repair shop is proud to be part of the Woodbridge, VA community for generations, and is looking forward to years to come!

        Solid repair service

        Caton's is a quality auto repair service. I have used them for a couple of years now. I did most of my own repairs until I got a little too old. I can eval a place pretty well, and these guys are good. They are not cheap, but they are not ripoffs either. I obviously find the balance to be acceptable.



        They are professional, and the son of the founder owns and operates the business. He and his staff are good with people, and their buisness doesn't seem overwhelmed like so many other places. They are busy so they need and have a good system of receiving cars after/before operating hrs, greeting customers and providing trouble shooting and tech explanations as needed by the customer. They have an experienced coordinator/admin on the "front." Mr Caton oversees the jobs re/pricing and most major technical. He is personable and interested in the customers.



        If they had cheap-o prices, it would be an easy 5 star. But it would also be over run!

        I use them because I trust them and find them skilled, pleasant, organized, efficient, attentive and considerate.

        And I have been around. :)
