I stopped by About Time today after I found an old Gucci watch that has been in storage for years. It wasn't working and I didn't know what it needed, so brought it to David and he was able to replace the battery on the spot (only took a few minutes). It feels like I have a new watch again! David is awesome and loves what he does, he made running an errand painless and actually enjoyable! I will come back to David for any other watch needs and would recommend him to anyone! Thanks David :)

First and foremost, my first trip to APR57 convinced me that I'll never go anywhere else for my watch repair needs. David, the owner, has my business for life. He's professional, courteous, and good looking to boot! You can stop reading now if you want. -smile-
I have gotten sick of watches requiring battery changes, especially seeing as the price for changing them has skyrocketed over the years. I finally decided to get myself a nice automatic watch. I bought a Bulova 96R122 watch from a Craig's list ad, because it was much lower in price than I had seen it elsewhere. I was a bit disappointed that it did not have the diamond case I had seen in every photo I found of this particular watch. Quite by accident I found a case on ebay and bought it. I also had attempted to remove a couple of links from the bracelet and failed miserably! Needless to say, I needed to find a watch repair shop, so off to google I went to find local places. After finding a few I started reading reviews. APR57, and David, the owner, topped the list in a HUGE way, so off I went.

We parked in one of the parallel parking spots on the street, and walked in. David greeted me and instantly I knew why so many of the lady reviewers say he is easy on the eyes. -smile-
********After I showed David what I needed, he quickly asked me where I had parked. I told him and he double checked that I wasn't parked in one of the spots directly in front of the shop, that are not parallel. Apparently those spots appear not to be metered because the meters are in a group, not in front of each space! David wanted to make sure I didn't get a parking ticket. Now tell me, how many business owners will go out of their way to keep you from getting an expensive parking citation?*******

We were in his shop no more than ten minutes. He removed the links and changed the case in record time. He checked the size. I said I'd like one more link out. He recommended that I don't do that because a person's wrist changes size throughout the day and chances are it would wind up too tight. I wanted the link out anyway and so he did what I asked and said if I changed my mind, come back and he'd put a link in, no charge. He handed me the extra links, pins and the old case and told me to keep the links.

I was very pleased that he did the work right on the spot because I thought I would have to leave the watch there and come back in a few days. I was also expecting to have to pay more for his services. I expected $40 to $50 bucks to disappear from my wallet. It came to $30 and that too pleased me! While we waited for him we eyeballed around the shop looking at the selection of watches he had for sale. Yup, he's got some nice stuff!

The bottom line is, David is a watch professional, unlike jewelry store personnel. He does good work and has reasonable prices.

David is knowledgeable, friendly, fair, and does beautiful work quickly. He fixed my watch in 1 minute while he joked with me about my do-it-yourself fix it attempt. He gave me exactly what I wanted. I'll bring my watches to him from here out. Thanks

I usually do not wear anything on my wrists-my lass gifted me this one and i cant go without it now! go figure...

I have a watch that was very important to me because it was my father's watch. About Time did an absolutely amazing job in fixing it. They know watches! The advice and knowledge that they have was worth the trip. Its kept perfect time ever since it came back. Thanks for a most excellent job.

David at 'Apr57' jump-started an old Seiko wrist watch of mine that had been in a drawer for years and no longer running. Within a few minutes he solved the problem by simply de-magnetizing the inner works and charged me a small fraction of what had been estimated by another shop.

Great customer service and expertise at 'APR57,' and highly recommended.

When I lived around here, I wanted to support the new Clock guy.
I moved away 10 years ago and I still drive back to have any and all clock or watch repair. Very fair and reasonable!

Quick service for a good price and solid customer service. Owner genuinely enjoys his work. Got links removed and he said I can come back anytime to readjust if needed for no extra cost.

David is the professional that is gold standard in both expertise and attitude. If you look up above his work area, you will see a hurricane bowl bearing thousands of spent batteries. This is what 10,000 hours of diligence looks like. He encounters every new battery installation and every customer with enthusiasm and wonder. And believe me, he inspires loyalty. It's worth hunting

David Lee is so fantastic! Great customer service! I've been in 3-4 times in the past few weeks to adjust my band for the same Tag Heuer watch (my issues, not his) and he is always so kind, so fast, and has the personalized customer service you wish you could bottle and take everywhere else. Lee is the best! I had called prior to coming in so I could get my Coach battery replaced. For $14 and some change, plus he had to take off some links because I have baby wrists lol I had a great experience there and he was very effective and quick! I'll definitely be back if I ever have any other watch issues :)

I walked in to get batteries for 3 watches. I was in and out in 5 minutes, with new batteries and the time/date set up. I will definitely be back to do more business here and I will recommend it to friends as well. The well dressed man at the counter was very polite, friendly and helpful.

Whenever I need one of my watches cleaned or the battery replaced, this is the the only place I will ever go. Friendly, personal, and stress free. If you don't believe me, try it for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Extremely fast turnaround on my request for watch battery change and even quicker actual change once I arrived! Very courteous and professional and in a great location if you want to have an excuse to venture into APR57 to shop or eat. Made the choice also because of the specialization in watches vs all jewelery. 5 stars

I may never trust any watch to anyone other than David Lee. He has rebuilt my 30 year old Tag Heuer, provides various repairs on a 35 year old Concord, wrestled with my mangling of various other watches. Excellent price/value. Friendly and he knows his customers needs and desires.

Got my watch battery changed for my Swiss Military watch, within minutes! Price is extremely reasonable as it is more affordable than the other locations. The owner & Crew are super friendly and took great care of my watch. Even got my rings polished for free while I waited. Will definitely be coming back again!
