She performs in-office thyroid ultrasonography and fine needle aspiration biopsy of thyroid nodules. Dr. Salas-Whalen is board-certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism and Internal Medicine. She is one of less than 3000 physicians in the United States to be board certified for Obesity Medicine. Dr. Salas-Whalen is an active participant in the continuing advancement of her field and a strong proponent of lifelong career learning. She is a clinical instructor at NYU Langone Hospital.         Fantastic Endo

        Dr. Salas-Whalen is the best endocrinologist I've seen, and I have seen many. She is incredibly thorough and caring, and she took the time to fully understand my needs. Most importantly, she helped me get the weight loss results I was looking for
