Dr. Norman Harris has more than 30 years experience as a hand surgeon. Trained at Harvard’s Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Harris earned a subspecialty certificate in hand surgery in 1995 in addition to his certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Inc.

Brow Lift
The brow lift procedure is usually performed in Dr. Harris’ facility under local anesthesia with oral sedation. You’ll be awake but relaxed, and although you may feel some tugging, your forehead will be insensitive to pain. Your head is not shaved. The incision is usually made behind the hairline so that the scar won’t be visible. Stitches are removed within two weeks and most patients are back to work after a week.
Eyelid Surgery
Dr. Harris performs eyelid surgery at his facility under local anesthesia with oral sedation. You will be awake during the surgery, but relaxed and not sensitive to pain. The procedure takes about an hour. Incisions will follow the natural lines of your eyelids—in the creases of your upper lids and just below the lashes in your lower lids.
Liposuction
For patients who have very specific fat deposits, Dr. Harris does use liposuction alone, and he frequently does the procedure in conjunction with neck lifts and abdominoplasties.
Breast Augmentation
Many women feel more confident by enhancing and improving the appearance of your breasts. Breast augmentation is the most common cosmetic plastic surgery procedure in the United States. More than one million women have undergone some sort of breast augmentation surgery since 2006.
Breast Reduction
IN 2013, nearly 23,000 men underwent gynecomastia, or male breast reduction, surgeries. This is a very common occurrence and frequently causes embarrassment and discomfort.
Breast Lift
IF YOUR BREASTS HAVE SAGGED OR DROOPED OVER TIME, your best option may be a breast lift. A breast lift raises and firms your breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue. This will reshape and support the new breast contour. This operation is similar to a breast reduction, but breast tissue is not removed.
Rhinoplasty
When rhinoplasty is performed from inside the nose, there is no visible scarring at all. When an “open” technique is used, or when the procedure calls for the narrowing of flared nostrils, the small scars on the base of the nose are usually not visible.

Abdominoplasty
An umbilicoplasty is a procedure to change the appearance of a belly button, often to change an “outie” to an “innie”. Many times this procedure is done by itself without an abdominoplasty, in which case it is usually performed at Dr. Harris’ office under a local anesthesia.
Nose Surgery
RESTORE BALANCE between your nose and face. Nose surgery, or a nose job, can change the size of your nose; change the shape of the tip or the bridge; narrow the span of the nostrils; or change the angle between nose and upper lip. This operation is often performed along with a chin augmentation.

Otoplasty
YOUR EARS are almost fully grown by age four, and the earlier children can have this surgery may mean the less teasing they’ll have to endure. Children who feel uncomfortable about their ears and want an operation are generally more cooperative—don’t insist on the operation until your child wants the change. Adults may also want this operation.
Gynecomastia
Breast enlargement is not just a problem for women. Every year, thousands of men undergo gynecomastia, or male breast reduction, surgeries. Cosmetic Surgery
Dr. Harris performs his rhinoplasties under general anesthesia on an outpatient basis at the day surgery facility. The surgery usually takes several hours. When the operation is complete, a splint is applied to help your nose maintain its new shape. Most rhinoplasty patients are up and about within two days, and able to return to school or to sedentary work a week or so following surgery. Most insurance policies don’t cover purely cosmetic surgery; please check with your insurer.
Dermabrasion
SMOOTHER AND HEALTHIER SKIN IS POSSIBLE with dermabrasion treatments. Skin imperfections like actinic keratosis, seborrheic keratosis, acne scars, moles, skin pigmentation and warts can be improved with dermabrasion.
Chin Augmentation
A facelift usually takes about three hours to perform. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and oral sedation at Dr. Harris’ facility, or if you prefer, under a general anesthesia on an outpatient basis at the day surgery facility. You can also have additional procedures at the same time, such as eyelid surgery, brow lift and chin augmentation.
Forehead Lift
A BROW LIFT, or forehead lift, may restore a more youthful, refreshed look to the area above the eyes. You may feel fine, but the lines on your face may make you look angry, sad, or tired.

Lesions
Birthmarks and lesions are harmless, but their placement—on the face or other areas of the body—can be embarrassing or uncomfortable. Most birthmarks and lesions can be removed by surgery; reduced and softened using medication.
